10 yeras after the War of Yougoslavia, the installation is confronting memories of a broken langage as well as generical folkore dancing, which refers to an imaginary past, as well as an imaginary identity. The color slide is a picture from a training manual serb-croatian (Assimil collection). The two main central feminine figures have been removed from the picture.
The video projection shows two dancing women with a folk costume, representing imaginary figures replacing the two missing figures of the front photography. The bottom and the top of their bodies is separated and dance in an unsynchronized timing.
The sound is composed by lessons and songs in serbian and croatian.
